Great breakfast variety!

Great breakfast selection, but room heaters were inadequate and noisy at night.

Great breakfast with an incredible variety, including fantastic smoked salmon, more than we expected. The centrally located hotel offered spacious rooms and friendly staff, making our stay enjoyable. However, the check-in process was slightly odd, as the receptionist couldn’t answer some simple questions, and the parking situation could have been better explained.

The breakfast buffet was truly impressive, with a wide array of delicious options.

The air circulation in the room was poor, making it uncomfortably warm at times.

Dining at Bergen was a total treat, especially with the fresh grilled salmon I found at nearby Strandkaien Fisk—absolutely mouthwatering! The breakfast spread at the hotel is a powerhouse, with a bounty of delicious options. Plus, you can't beat the location close to the heart of the city. it’s a hop away from all the must-see spots!

However, my room was colder than a fjord in winter, and the hotel wouldn’t turn the heat up even with chilly June temps. The breakfast hours were a real bummer too. I had to skedaddle before they opened, missing out on a proper meal.

stayed at scandic for 2 nights. the location is fantastic, right in the center where everything is easily accessible. the breakfast was impressive with plenty of options, and two reception staff really stood out as friendly and helpful. enjoyed the fitness center amenities too.

This place suits me perfectly with friendly staff, free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour reception, and delicious breakfast. I still remember how they helped me find the best currency exchange. I am excited to come back for my next city trip!

I had a lovely stay at Scandic Neptun. The room was spacious and well maintained, providing great views of Bryggen. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy for seniors like myself to explore the nearby attractions.

Better signage to navigate would be helpful.

Central location & comfy vibes

Had a chill stay for 2 nights. The room was peaceful and spotless. The breakfast spread was great, especially the DIY lunch box idea! Only thing was, a few sockets were a bit wonky. Staff was super helpful when we needed anything. Overall, a solid place to hang your hat while exploring.

The room was bigger than expected, maybe we got an upgrade without knowing. It felt clean and comfortable overall. However, the first room had a strong drain smell, but the staff switched us right away. The second room was smaller but definitely nicer and had a good temperature. The bed was cozy!
